Kit - Palliative Care Tasmania Fundraiser

Make and share hearts to support Palliative Care Tasmania (PCT). Pre-cut hearts are provided in PCT's fabulous brand colours, which look amazing when stitched in various combinations (examples pictured).

You can share your hearts to spread awareness or send them to PCT to be shared in palliative care services. 20% of sales will be donated to PCT, a registered charity and the peak representative body for specialist, hospice and community-supported palliative care in Tasmania (my home state).

At its heart, PCT aims to empower the community through awareness, information and engagement. The partnership with 1000 hearts helps to open conversations around palliative care and increase understanding about mindfulness, kindness and strengthening community. 

This kit has everything you need to make 20 pocket hearts. It's perfect for Heartists who like to contribute to our community through a gentle, meaningful stitching project.

The kit includes:

• heart-making instructions sheet
• 20 heart pairs cut from 100% wool felt in PCT colours
• embroidery thread to sew your hearts                                                                         
• a needle
• 20 biodegradable cellophane bags for wrapping                                                       
• 20 printed card inserts to wrap with your hearts that share a message of support for people working in, or accessing support from, palliative care services.
